Big ol extended family session!

This is another family that's near and dear to my heart!  Mike and Bobbie had been great family friends for Darin and I's entire marriage.  Bobbie has the biggest heart and shares that big ol' heart with everyone. My Adie has referred to her as "My Bobbie" since she was 2! We were going to try to get a big extended family shot but there was a sick grand baby so we took individuals of each grandchild in front of the tree instead. It worked out great. And I was able to get some fun shots of Mike and Bobbie by themselves too. She told me she felt like it was an engagement session. =)  Love this family and am privileged they choose me to capture their grand babies memories!

Here's Christy's family...
(We took a few extra of Bryce for his birth announcements.)

And Brian and Liz's family...

And Lindsay's family... no family picture of them because they had a sick one at home.. made a house call to get Miss Maylin's individual shot.

Extended family session...

Thanksgiving weekend ended with this family's extended family session.  You might recognize the cute little girls in the right corner of the picture.. we just did Morgan's 5 year session and her sisters have been frequenters on the blog too.  Sara knew her entire family would be in town so she's had me booked for months. We took this big family picture and then pictures of each individual family. Thank you, Sara for booking me for such an important session!

Extended family session...

Seriously.. isn't this the cutest family!? It's a Christmas gift for the grandparents and I'm guessing they are going to love it!  Three brothers, their gorgeous wives and 4 grand-boys.   It was FREEZING at our session and the little guys (and their parents for that matter) were such good sports.  I think our nice, warm weather is gone til spring!  We were super lucky with a mild October, tho.  Had 20 shoots and didn't have to reschedule a one!  Anyway, we did a huge extended family shoot and then individuals of each family.  And we even got a few fun ones of the grandsons too.  Thanks for booking with me, Cooks!

Little addition to the senior shoot...

The eldest child might look familiar in these family picture.. Kaitlyn's mom added on some family pictures to Kaitlyn's senior session. We also did some individual pictures of her little brother and sister too.  They gave me some super fun, candid ones too.  LOVE that!  Dad got a good giggle out of everyone for most of the candid shots. =)  Thank you, Troyer family for spending your Friday afternoon with me!

Close to my heart...

This is one of my favorite families!!!  This is Darin's aunt, uncle and cousins.  When I tell people that I married into Roger and Rhonda being part of my family, they tell me how lucky I am! I totally agree.  You can't know better people than these guys.  LOVE THEM!  This was an extra fun shoot as well because it was apart of a 30th wedding anniversary gift for Roger and Rhonda.  A family session with me was one of many scavenger hunt stops in a game that the kids put on for their parents.. they ended at the church for a surprise party.  They went to meaningful places in the area that mark a time in their marriage and one of the stops was the local Airport.  This is a flying family.. Roger is a captain for American Airlines and Matt flies for a commuter company out of Elkhart. So of course pictures by some of Roger's airplanes was fitting!  And couldn't forget the Steelers garb too. =)

My fave...
And had to show you this one.. I told them to kiss and Roger joked with how he had to use his bifocals now to find Rhonda's mouth!

Love you guys!
