Another 2 year old and newborn!

All my sessions last weekend were with 2 year old's and their new siblings!  That's fun!  Must be the season.  We had taken Mr. D's newborn pictures a week prior to our shoot because he came a bit earlier than planned.  I usually like to take newborn pictures between 5-10 days.  We kept our normal session for family pictures and Miss S's 2 year session. We also wanted some picture of the new baby and his daddy.. scroll down to see the fun shot we got. =) It was a super snowy day out so we were able to capture mom and dad out in the snow in a little mini-session of their own. When I say mini I mean we were out in the snow for literally 2 minutes!  I had so much fun and appreciate you trusting me to take your pictures, S family!  

And this was such a fun picture to get.. a little boy in action. =)  

And his daddy was a sport for staying super still as I snapped away while his new son was peeing down his arm!  

A newborn and 2 year old session...

Saturday I got to hang out with a 2 year old and her 6 day old baby sister.  Lil miss 2-year-old was super, super active and did such a great job sitting for me!  Then her newborn sister sure did set the bar high for excellent babies.. she slept the entire time for her part of the session!  Until she pottied in her daddy's ear.. he took one for the team, that's for sure! Thanks for using me, S family! And enjoy that sweet new baby!

A new baby packager!!!!

My last newborn baby packager of the 2010 year!  Meet Mr. Silas.  We had an appointment for our session 2 weeks ago and the little guy was too warm and cozy in his mama!  Blew right past that due date and we had to move his session.  =)  He was just 6 days old at our session.. took him a good hour and a half to fall asleep but after a ton of feedings and the heat cranked up, he fell asleep!  Welcome to the world and my baby package family, Silas!!!

Mama plays the piano.. love to incorporate meaningful instruments and memorabilia in pictures. 

This is a quilt made by a family member.. this session was filled with meaningful things for Mr. Silas. 

And the last meaningful thing.. the sock monkey.  I usually walk around the house a bit before we start the session to get a "feel" of what the family is into.. what their style is and how the baby's nursery is decorated. His nursery had the cutest wall art taken by an aunt of this monkey in all sorts of fun places.  The monkey was made from the little guy's great grandpa's socks.  We knew we wanted to take a picture of him and the monkey for his nursery which we got...

Pretty sure that monkey will show up in every 3 month shoot from here on out!  Love it!

A new baby packager...

 And not just any new baby packager.. one of my BFF's new baby!  This is Mr. Oliver.  Yep.. this is my friend Erin's new baby. You see Erin every time you come to this blog... her family is on my blog header!  Add another cutie little boy to the family!  He was born last Saturday so we did his newborn pictures at just 6 days old.  He was nice and sleepy.. just how I like them.  And his parents are rock stars.. hence all the guitar pictures.   You'll see him again in 3 months!  

New Baby Girl..

I know!  There have been a ton of new additions to my baby package family!  This little gal was just 10 days old when I came over to capture her tininess. She preferred being held by her mommy and daddy so many of our pictures included the brand new proud parents.  Look forward to seeing her again in December at her 3 month session!  Glad you are apart of the baby package family, Miss M!
